John Bedard
RA, LEED AP: Junior Partner
John is a licensed Architect in the state of New York and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registrations Board (NCARB). John grew up north of Boston and received his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, with a strong interest in contextual design, adaptive reuse, and sustainable design. John became a LEED Associate Professional in June 2010.

John began his architectural career as an intern at KUSHNER studios and after receiving his degree joined the design team full time. From the beginning, he has been involved with a variety of residential and commercial projects including "ground up construction" and conversions of existing buildings. John's focus for these projects concerned zoning requirements, building code, and design development.
John has also served as the project manager for numerous commercial projects, including restaurants and a recording studio.

In 2009, John earned the position of Project Architect and Associate with KUSHNER studios. Recently his focus has been on land use and development, along with overall management of projects firm-wide. John's experience in residential and commercial architecture and development lends knowledge and expertise to KUSHNER studios in developing new projects.

John enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling.
